Val d’Isère ski resort located in France has had an abundance of snow this season, in fact, they saw the most snow this past winter than they have in years. Record snow fell in January which closed nearby resorts. Nine meters of snow has accumulated so far in the Alps for the 2017-2018 season.
There is still just under a meter of Snow left at the resort as of April 27, 2018. Some roads within the resort is still blocked with snow.
Snow is expected to last through next month and well into June. This will be the first time in 82 years that the Val d’Isère has opened their slopes for skiing in June.
I got to say it once and only once…..As Diamond from Oppenheimer Ranch Project says
